Scheepvaart Museum renovates

The National Maritime Museum Amsterdam is being renovated. The courtyard will have a glass roof and the galleries are being refurbished. In the process, the building's history is being laid bare. If everything goes to plan, the museum is due to re-open in summer 2011.
